EducationUSA Advisor Elda Muco conducted a three-hour interactive presentation for Zambian students and teachers who want to study in the United States. Attendees included 48 in-person students at the Embassy’s Information Resource Center and seven virtual participants from the American Corner – Copperbelt University in Kitwe via Google+ Hangout. Elda answered questions about U.S. university admissions procedures, scholarship opportunities, and the student visa process.

The presentation is specifically designed for high-performing undergraduate and graduate students who do not otherwise have access to resources to assist them in pursuit of their dreams of studying in the United States. The Embassy hosts these public talks regularly. For more information, or to attend one of these programs, please contact EdLusaka@state.gov or visit www.facebook.com/zambiaeducationusa.
