COVID-19 and HIV
3 MINUTE READ
April 21, 2020

As we all do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19, remember to take your #ARVs every day. It is important to stay strong and healthy!  PEPFAR Zambia is ensuring clients continue receiving lifesaving ARVs by providing up to six months of medications at a time to help limit potential exposure to the COVID-19. Currently, there is no known effective treatment for COVID-19. PEPFAR Zambia discourages use of experimental therapies as they may be dangerous. Drug interactions with ARVs and other HIV-related therapies may pose particular risks for people living with HIV.
