PAS Lusaka American Spaces Director Carla Minor and EducationUSA Advisor Elda Muco organized a Martin Luther King, Jr. Day reception for 19 Zambian students who are currently or formerly part of our regular EducationUSA intensive advising sessions. The group first watched the film “The March” after which Embassy guest speaker, CDC Provincial Office Support Officer Patrick Minor, conducted an interactive presentation discussing examples of Dr. King’s leadership and courage.

Mr. Minor gave examples from Dr. King’s life on how to be an inspirational leader and to make a difference in life. At the end of the session, the students received information on EducationUSA Zambia services to promote study in the United States.
